**JOB OVERVIEW**
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professionals to join our team in the role of Manager, Projects. We have opportunities across a number of business units on our Enterprise Projects team throughout Durham Region.
- Manager, Projects is responsible for supervising professional, technical and trades staff engaged in project modification and site maintenance activities in a multi-unit nuclear generating facility. This role will provide leadership in project management including design, cost schedule, quality, material control and contract work. The Manager, projects is responsible for optimization of project implementation. This role participates in strategic planning, budgeting and training programs.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Ensure safe execution of all project activities, promoting safety as the top priority while delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Manage the preparation of site work schedule:

- Schedule all field activities for cyclical and project work.
- Provide resource balancing for project and cyclical work based on scheduled tasks.
- Provide interface process for all site schedules.
- Lead and coordinate multidiscipline project portfolios, including matrix project execution teams.
- Arrange and lead project meetings to coordinate requirements and progress with designers, suppliers, construction, and operations teams.
- Maintain close liaison with field construction and operations to address design, scheduling, costing, and related project issues.
- Ensure proper project documentation and adherence to Project Management and Contract Management governance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, setting clear expectations and driving accountability for staff and contractors.
- Foster a high-performance, team-oriented environment that encourages trust and collaboration between Oversight and Contractor staff.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- University degree in engineering. PMP considered an asset.
- 5+ years’ experience in Nuclear and Project Management with knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
- 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role.
- Experience delivering Construction Management services for major capital construction program/projects within the expected scope, quality, schedule, and budget an asset
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong planning, managerial, and leadership skills.
