**What You’ve Accomplished** - Completion of a BS in Business, Engineering, a related field, or comparable experience in lieu of degree - At least 8 years of project work experience - Demonstrated knowledge of major project management plan development, implementation, and administration - Strong business and/or technical expertise in a related technical capacity - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff & management - Strong problem identification and resolution skills with emphasis on "root cause" analysis - Excellent report development and presentation skills - You are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology. **Who You Are** You may have also acquired the following skills: - Engineering & Construction Management Experience. - Knowledge about ECC process is considered an asset. - Excellent organization skills and financial management skills - Proven leadership skills to manage cost, schedule, and scope. - Experience with P6 and cost management tools like PRS. - Strong knowledge of Project Management & Quality Processes. - Nuclear Industry Safety knowledge is considered an asset. - Conflict Management, Customer Focus, Timely Decision Making, Informing, Negotiating, Organizing, Planning, Priority Setting, Problem Solving, and Building Effective Teams. **Your Opportunity** This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. As a Project Manager in Pickering, Ontario (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. This role includes: - Managing a variety of Engineering, Procurement & Services projects, with a team of project coordinators and engineering staff. - Interface with customer representatives on a daily basis, ensuring all contract deliverables are executed to the highest levels of safety and quality. - Responsibility to the Product Line Manager for safety, quality, cost and schedule for all projects managed. - Organizing and chairing daily/weekly project meetings. - Maintaining all managed projects within the Framatome Project Reporting system. - Providing support in field as needed. General duties include: - Preparation of project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives. - Utilizing approved project management methods and processes to execute low risk projects of existing technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations. - Actively participating in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd. - Preparing project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives. - Developing assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project. - Coordinating multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizing team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance. - Defining and forecasting needed skills to meet project objectives, including managing the timely issuance and payment of customer invoices. - Providing project leadership for major commercial design, construction, expansion, extension, renovation, supply or component replacement projects. This position requires occasional travel.
