**Pool Service Technician**

Jameson Pool and Spa was established in 1994 and is now one of the largest pool companies in the GTA. We design, build and restore pools and surrounding landscape with 2 retail store locations ensuring all customer pool inquiries and service needs are met. Our company has been completing over 100 projects each year.

We are looking for a full-time seasonal **Pool Service Technician** to help our company provide excellent service in our pool openings and closings. Jameson Pool & Spa incorporates a dedicated team while providing professional training and focuses on an organized and safe professional approach. Offering greater work week hours and top-notch benefits.

**Job Description and Duties**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool chemistry and equipment problems
- Repair, replace, and install pool equipment - pumps, motors
- Cut and repair leaking plumbing lines
- Assist in liner preparation and installation and installing pool safety covers
- Perform routine maintenance and chemical balancing of pools
- Opening and closing swimming pools
- Reporting back to the service department so notes can be processed

**Job Requirements**:

- 1+ years of experience in pool service
- Having a clean valid G Driver’s License is mandatory
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job (able to lift 50 pounds or more)
- Effective communication skills (either written or oral)
- Ability to follow instructions/procedures quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting

**Job Type - full-time, part-time, seasonal,**

**Schedule**:

- Due to the nature of the Jameson Pool and Spa business this position is seasonal approximately from the end of March to the beginning of December
- During the busy months may be required to work long days, multiple days a week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

- French not required

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
