**Job Overview**:
AAPS is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) Instructor. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction, mentorship, and support to students enrolled in our PSW program, helping them build the skills and knowledge required to excel in the healthcare field. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Program Delivery**: Deliver theoretical and practical lessons in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
- **Clinical Supervision**: Oversee and support students during their clinical placements, ensuring adherence to professional and safety standards.
- **Curriculum Development**: Collaborate with the academic team to update and refine course materials to ensure alignment with current healthcare practices.
- **Student Mentorship**: Provide ongoing guidance, evaluation, and feedback to students to enhance their learning and professional growth.
- **Compliance**: Ensure the program meets all regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies governing PSW education and practice.
- **Classroom Management**: Foster an engaging, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for a diverse group of students.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Mandatory**:

- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) designation with active and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a long-term care, community health, or related field.

**Preferred**:

- Previous experience teaching or training adults, ideally in a post-secondary or healthcare setting.
- Completion of a teaching certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Familiarity with adult education principles and teaching methods.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Proficiency in using modern teaching tools and technologies.
