We are hiring for a Temporary Chef de Partie at our Sunwood location in Coquitlam, BC.

Must have open availability and available to work 40 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing a key area of the restaurant within the hot, cold and service areas- Achieving operational standards for the department in areas such as cleanliness, food safety, shrink, scheduling, and health & safety- Managing product ordering and inventory control to attain established service levels- Leading a team, acting as a coach, mentor, and resource to team members.- Fostering a positive environment that is focused on always customer first service.- Supporting the management team with team member relations.- Using knowledge of the community, competitive environment and industry to develop entrepreneurial strategies to grow the business- Taking count of the correct amount of stock during monthly inventory

You have:
- 1-2 years of culinary experience working in a kitchen or restaurant- Experience leading a team- Food Safe Certificate- Passion for great food and outstanding service- Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude- Retail, customer service experience considered an asset
