**Industrial Project Manager (Bilingual)**

Our Quebec Technical Services team is looking for an **Industrial Project Manager **to join their team. The Project Manager will be part of an interdisciplinary team of engineers and project technicians who maintain and modernize our hydroelectric facilities in Quebec and ensure their proper functioning. **What you’ll be doing**:

- Overseeing each stage of the project including identification, definition, planning, execution, closure and transfer to the client;
- Ensure strict and proactive adherence to Evolugen Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) requirements and guidelines by Evolugen contractors, consultants and team members associated with its projects.
- Develop an implementation strategy unique to each project in order to define, clarify and communicate the general and overall direction to achieve the desired end;
- Assume the management of studies related to its projects, including conceptual studies and preliminary engineering, detailed engineering, call for tenders, site supervision, commissioning, etc.
- Prepare and assume proactive and effective control of budgets, schedules and all activities related to its projects and minimize risks for Evolugen through effective management;
- Participate in major hydroelectric power plants and dams maintenance project, such as unit overhauls and gantry crane structures;
- Act as technical support and liaison with external technical resources and experts.
- Self-driven, outcome-focused, strong analytical and sounds judgment;
- Expert in balancing multiple and shifting priorities;
- Personal flexibility and comfort in handling change with little notice;
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products;
- Proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency and a proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships;
- Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and demonstrate interpersonal skills
- Are able to travel within our different assets in the Outaouais region from time to time, as required by the business.

**What you must have**:

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent practical and demonstrated experience;
- 5-7 years of demonstrated and relevant experience in industrial project management and/or engineering in the field of hydroelectricity and/or hydraulic control works (dams);
- Certification (CAPM, PMP, etc.) and/or formal academic training (university level) in project management is considered an asset.
- Have safe work habits as well as familiarity with local/regional regulatory requirements related to health and safety;

Notre équipe Services technique du Québec est à la recherche d’une ou d’un **Gestionnaire de Projets industriel **pour se joindre à elle. La ou le Gestionnaire de projets fera partie d’une équipe interdisciplinaire d’ingénieur(e)s et de technicien(ne)s de projets qui maintient et modernise nos installations hydroélectriques du Québec et s’assure de leur bon fonctionnement. - Assumer la gestion de projets à chaque étape incluant l’identification, la définition, la planification, la réalisation, la fermeture et le transfert au client.
