We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Prep Cook to support our kitchen team. You’ll be the backbone of our food prep, assisting line cooks and chefs with everything from chopping to marinating, ensuring we’re ready to serve up delicious meals. If you’re organized, physically capable, and love being part of a fast-moving kitchen, we want you on board.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist line cooks by preparing ingredients - chopping, marinating, measuring, and more.
- Perform basic heating tasks to support meal prep and service.
- Support line cooks and chefs to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Load and unload inventory, moving heavy supplies in and out of storage rooms.
- Keep prep stations clean, organized, and stocked for efficiency.
- Ensure cleanliness throughout your shift.
- Morning shift: Prep and open kitchen; Evening shift: Clean up and close down the kitchen.

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 year of kitchen experience in a similar prep role.
- Must be fluent in English; Vietnamese language skills are a bonus due to our community ties.
- Physically fit and healthy - able to carry heavy loads and stay on your feet.
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification required.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for staying calm in a busy environment.
- Available to work at least 2 days (48 hours) per week, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) for employment eligibility in Canada.
