Jamaican Delight Cuisine, a family-owned restaurant known for authentic Jamaican cuisine, is seeking an enthusiastic **Server** to join our team This is your chance to be part of a dynamic restaurant, ensuring the highest food preparation and service quality.

As Server, you will be a frontline staff member responsible for providing positive customer interactions and excellent customer experience while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, Servers are expected to be attentive to our guests’ needs while making them feel welcome in the Jamaican Delight Cuisine Restaurant & Lounge.
- Providing superior guest experience and customer satisfaction
- Serving food and beverages to guests while offering professional, friendly and engaging service
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the bar and in the dining area
- Completing dining table set up, as well as attending service meetings at the beginning of shifts
- Familiarizing self with the organization’s menu and serving style
- Maintaining the cleanliness of your workstation, clearing tables, and returning equipment to respective clearing stations
- Maintaining a high standard of safety and cleanliness in all areas of Jamaican Delight Cuisine Restaurant & Lounge; this includes reporting all damaged equipment and hazards and maintaining familiarity with safety procedures
- Performing cashier duties as required, including reconciling order transactions with the manager
- A High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 Year of server experience
- Must have Pro-Serve certification
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving with strong attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and develop excellent working relationships with team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and heavy lifting is sometimes required
- Ability to use Point of Sale (POS) system and have cash handling experience an asset
- The availability to work mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
