**Summary of Responsibilities**:

- Oversee on-site contractor activities related to tower erection and stringing of transmission lines.
- Monitor a range of structure types including steel lattice and wooden towers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure alignment with engineering specs.
- Oversee tensioning, leveling, bolt testing, and sag verification.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Review contractor quality control procedures and ensure compliance.
- Enforce on-site safety protocols.

**Deliverables**:

- Maintain detailed inspection records: logs, photos, test results.
- Submit regular inspection reports with identified non-compliances and improvement areas.
- Manage punch lists specific to tower erection/stringing.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in transmission line tower erection/stringing.
- Proficient with inspection codes, standards, and techniques.
- Valid driver’s license; First Aid certification preferred.

**Skills**:

- Effective communication and technical reporting.
- Familiarity with ARC GIS, GPS, Microsoft Suite.
- Strong independent work ethic.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
