**POSITION TITLE**:
Wash and Detail Attendant

**DEPARTMENT**:
Wash & Detail

**REPORTS TO**:
Body Shop Manager

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
You will be responsible for the washing and detailing of all units.

**KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS**:

- Perform proper washing, interior detailing, and exterior detailing of trucks, trailers, motorhomes, fifth wheels, construction equipment, and personal vehicles
- Safe operation of equipment and products, including air-powered equipment, power tools, hand tools, vacuums, shampoo machine, and deodorizer machine
- Practice proper safety protocols, such as climbing up and down on to trailer, deck, engine compartment, ladders, etc. using three-point contact
- Proper use of scrub brush and wash mitt. Maintain cleanliness of cleaning products after use
- Perform minor mechanical repairs to wash bay equipment (change a hose, change a fitting, etc)
- Inform manager of any incidents, accidents, near misses, or equipment failures
- Maintain accurate time log via time clock
- Attentive to detail and maximizes effort to avoid damage to exterior or interior components
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in wash & details bays. Tools and equipment put away when not in use and garbage disposed of properly
- Using brushes, rags, spray equipment and air nozzles to remove all dirt and grime from interior components
- Working knowledge of various detailing & wash products (degreaser, oil remover, solvents, glass cleaner, paint polish compounds and waxes, soap, & acid based cleaners) and when to use these products
- Ensure detailing rags are sorted and laundered regularly
- Assist other departments as required
- Other duties as required

- Be professional and courteous with customer’s and peers.
- Ability to multitask.
- Able to work flexible hours to accommodate department demands.
