We are looking for a skilled, dynamic and results-driven Installation Technician to join our team.

The individual in this role will report to our Operations Manager. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, configuring and installing the company’s systems/technologies at customer sites. This is an on-site/in-office, full time position. **Key responsibilities include**:

- Participate in online training sessions about current and potential industries related to the areas of natural resources, inclusive of some or all of the following areas: Energy, Forests, Minerals/Metals, Earth Sciences, Green Manufacturing, Carbon & Climate Mitigation, Energy Efficiency & Green Buildings, Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection.
- Learn about our innovative solutions.
- Install, maintain, adjust, configure and repair the company’s systems at customer sites while adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.
- Ensure proper wiring, functionality, and placement of all peripherals, accessories, cabling and devices for optimal performance.
- Maintain a detailed log of installations completed.
- Create as-built diagrams.
- Use prior job knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical queries and problems.
- Research, help to develop and implement scalable processes and help with the product design, modeling and installations.
- Pre-installation component preparation and configuration.
- Soldering of electrical circuit boards (PCB) and components such as capacitors, transistors, resistors, diodes, wires and other electronic components.
- Manual assembly of electronic components, circuit boards, devices, wire harnesses and/or cables.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure that devices are assembled according to specifications.
- Provide help with packing and shipping of installation items and products.
- Assist in other related areas of electronics assembly and soldering as required.

**Qualifications and requirements**:

- Post-secondary Diploma in technology program is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel in North America is mandatory.
- Valid driver's license are mandatory.
- Valid passport is mandatory.
- Proven experience in vehicle electrical installation or a similar role is an asset.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
- Positive energy and a desire to work in a dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated. Capable of working independently and under tight deadlines.
- Active listener with high level of attention to details.
- Patient and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
- Able to read and understand assembly documentation.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, electronic components and their functions.
- Ability to solder and de-solder electronic components.
- Good communication skills in both written and oral English
