**Position Overview**: We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Technician to assist with a structured cabling and rack installation project at our Markham location. The technician will work closely with a Senior Engineer to ensure the accurate placement, labeling, and organization of IT infrastructure components in accordance with detailed rack design documentation. This role is hands-on and focused on physical infrastructure; no system configuration is required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install and secure IT components (firewalls, switches, servers, PDUs, UPS) into racks based on provided rack design documentation.
- Perform structured cabling tasks, including accurate cable placement, routing, and physical labeling of all racks, components, and data cables at each end.
- Follow detailed design documentation to ensure accuracy, precision, and compliance with standards.
- Assist the Senior Engineer as required throughout the installation process.
- Work independently with reliability, precision, and focus to meet project timelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment during installation.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Previous hands-on experience in cabling, rack installation, or data center support.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow technical documentation and work with precision.
- Reliable, independent, and capable of working in a time-sensitive environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration with senior engineers.
- Physical ability to lift and install IT hardware (servers, UPS, switches, etc.).
