What will be your daily pursuit?:
Leading fishing excursions on Lake Minnewanka while providing guests with an exceptional National Park visitor experience.
- This fun, summer job runs from April/May until September/October._

Compensation:
The starting salary for this role is $17.50 per hour.

What will you do in this job?:

- Be prepared for a fast-paced work environment with changing conditions
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest
- Improve guests experience by offering interpretation on board
- Keeping fishing boats and fishing equipment in ready condition
- Maintaining trip and mechanical logs and maintaining a safe and clean environment in all areas
- Sustain a safe environment in all areas controlled by Minnewanka Lake
- Participate in the global effort to keep all areas of Minnewanka clean and wildlife safe
- Responsible for guest safety and comfort during tours, without any direct supervision

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:

- Passionate and experienced angler
- High attention to detail and good communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent fishing knowledge
- Ability to think calmly and clearly in any situation
- Mechanically inclined
- Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) support and course reimbursement provided
- First Aid experience an asset
- Responsible and able to work independently, dependable

- Remote. Our home is filled with trees, lakes and blue-bird skies; rather than buildings, freeways and smog.
- Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
