**Frontier Technologies** is currently seeking **No Experience** - **Telecommunications Technicians** to join our team.

We offer a minimum of 4 weeks of paid training. We cover all costs associated with safety certificates and provide a great team environment. After successful completion of our training program, you will have a career in the telecommunications field as a Connected Home Expert. This position works independently and dispatched from your home to customers requiring telecommunication installs.

As a member of _our_ telecommunications team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and technical expertise while connecting customers to all related telecommunications equipment such as Internet modems, TV and phone services. Should you be successful, opportunity for advancement into a Field Technician role is possible with additional paid training. Ladder work, fall arrest training would be necessary at this stage. Since this position offers the opportunity to graduate to field technician, being comfortable working at heights and the ability to maneuver a 28’ ladder is expected.

**Daily Duties and Responsibilities may include**:

- Installation of interior/exterior outlets and lines as well as installation of telecommunications equipment at the customer location while providing exceptional customer service.
- Kneeling, crouching, bending and overhead work to get assigned tasks completed.
- Heavy lifting (60+ pounds).
- Use of specialized tools.
- Maintaining stock reequipments in vehicles for successful completion of all types of jobs.
- Maintaining assignment vehicles and tools in a satisfactory manner.
- Overtime work, evenings and weekends may be required.
- Other duties as assigned by manager

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Relevant industry installation and repair experience is considered an asset.
- Industry experience with home AV products, home computer networking products, and running communications wiring are considered an asset.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to consistently meet and achieve outlined metrics.
- Ability to follow established policies & procedures with a strong attention to detail.
- Satisfactory Criminal Background check.
- **Valid provincial driver’s license coupled with a satisfactory driving abstract. This is an absolute requirement of the role.**
