Table Wood Cutter

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate cutting machines, including press brake machines, to fabricate parts as per blueprints and specifications.
- Utilize logic controllers for precise control of cutting processes.
- Conduct machining tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes on all cut materials.
- Measure and inspect finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Package finished products for shipment or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational issues.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in operating press brake machines or similar equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience with forklifts is a plus for material handling tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.24-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Machining: 1 year (required)
- Press brake machine: 1 year (required)
- Blueprint reading: 1 year (required)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (required)
- wood cutting: 4 years (preferred)
