**Boeing Canada Operations Ltd**. is seeking **Supplier Quality Representative**, reporting to the Supplier Quality Regional Manager, working out of the **Toronto** office. **Supplier Quality Representative** will support D1-4426 Special Processes on one of our regional teams in the Americas.

The Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) Supplier Quality organization is responsible for approving and maintaining oversight of our suppliers’ to ensure conformance to engineering and contract requirements.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Lead, plan, organize, and conduct onsite audits of D1-4426 approved processors
- Conduct training and coordinate company initiatives to improve supplier performance and productivity
- Lead, plan and conduct audits and assessments of complex supplier systems, processes and products
- Strong understanding of root cause and corrective action analysis and implementation of preventative action
- Provide education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives
- Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work
- Develop training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity
- Identify risks and hold suppliers accountable for the mitigation of those risks
- Create presentations and present to senior management at suppliers and Boeing
- Use of a personal vehicle, when required for company business, would be reimbursed at mileage rate per company policy

**This position requires to travel up to 75% of the time, performing onsite audits and advanced quality improvements at our approved processors.**

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- 8+ years of experience in supplier quality system requirements, along with extensive process auditing experience
- 5+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
- 5+ years of experience working with materials (metallic and nonmetallic), and special processes (heat treatment of metals, welding, brazing, chemical processes/finishes and coatings, composite hardware manufacturing processes, metal bonding processes, non-destructive testing)
- 5+ years of experience with root cause and corrective action analysis and implementation of acceptable preventative action
- Use of a personal vehicle, when required for company business, would be reimbursed at mileage rate per applicable company policy
- Travel up to 75% of the time to non-Boeing locations throughout the assigned region and working from supplier’s office locations
- Must be legally able to work in Canada

**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:

- 5+ years of experience working with various quality tools and processes such as FMEA, control plans, SPC and MSA
- 5+ years of experience for ISO9001, AS9100 and AS9145
- Lean or lean six sigma experience (leading or co-leading teams with value stream mapping and shop floor standard work events)
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management best practices and processes
- Highly self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong technical background

**Typical Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
