Overview Supplier Quality Engineer at J&M Group Responsibilities Suppliers Primary Evaluations, PCPA audits, Technical Sign-off, APQP Implementation, Risk assessment and mitigation plan signoff, Design review, Tool Kick off, Tool Development Tracking, Fixtures / gauges / Tools readiness review / execution Tool Trails, To T0, T1, T2 and T3 Parts Fitments Report & Corrective Actions Approval For Fit & Functions ECN / FETE implementations Testing & Validations Safe Launch PSW Sign-off Smooth SOP + Ramp up Final Development Handover Supplier Performance Enhancement Excellence in Delivery Around 10 to 15% travel to various supplier locations Heavy Engineering Product exposure Exposure to forging, casting, machining, sheet metal fabrication and standard hardware Good understanding about material standards, AWS welding standards and reading the complex engineering prints Good exposure to sheet metal design and manufacturing aspects, GDT, design for manufacturing concepts, Mandatory Welding Certification Desirable Skills Experience with Supplier Quality Engineering related to heavy machinery.
