The world doesn’t need another doughnut shop; however, with three locations in Toronto and plans to expand to NYC, Paris, Tokyo, and beyond, we aim to become an incubator of inspiration.

**A day in the life of a team member at COPS**:
is a perfect blend of precision, operation and dedication to customer excellence. From the moment they step into our vibrant boutique and drink up one of our great coffee, they ensure that every preparation and doughnut meets our exacting standards. Whether they're completing tasks, engaging with customers, or supporting the management team, their role drives operational and front-of-house excellence. Amidst the hustle, they help in elevating team morale.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and consistency in doughnut preparation.
- Maintain and update doughnut logs and checklists, promptly reporting any deviations to management.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead to implement boutique initiatives and achieve operational goals.
- Supervise and prepare doughnut prep, addressing inconsistencies and providing guidance as needed.
- Meticulously check glazing, size, texture, and color to ensure all orders meet COPS standards.
- Stay informed about our roaster partners' coffee origin and information, ensuring fresh batches are brewed every 90 minutes.
- Support management in training new hires on coffee preparation and oversee brewing intervals for freshness.
- Stay updated on company products and partnerships to provide accurate information to customers.
- Foster a positive team dynamic by focusing on solutions and maintaining morale.
- Execute store operations diligently, completing health and safety checklists daily.
- Anticipate customer and store needs through attentive observation and proactive service.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Support in any other tasks essential to the success of the boutique and the brand, beyond those specified in this job description.

**Skill Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail environments.
- Thorough understanding of store operations and strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in core products and processes, with the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
