Sika Canada's Manufacturing Plant in **Brantford, Ontario **is searching for the next **Maintenance Supervisor **The Brantford plant is Sika Canada's highest volume cement
- and aggregate-based dry mix facility, focusing mainly on the Residential Construction product line, sold to renovation centres for use by contractors and consumers alike. An average day yields thousands of bags of dry concrete mixes.
- Supervising a team of 4 Certified Millwrights and 1 maintenance helper (a team of 5 employees)
- Vendor and contractor relationship management - maintaining maintenance records, planning and coordinating visits with outside contractors as needed
- Managing plant maintenance costs, as well as negotiating and purchasing equipment parts for the maintenance department
- Project panning and root cause analysis regarding equipment issues, malfunctions or breakdowns
- Assist with the implementation, planning and integration and maintenance of CMMS system
- Safety-related tasks: Creation of Safe Work Procedures, attend and lead safety meetings, enforce safety rules and regulations
- HR-related tasks: Participate in the full recruitment process for new maintenance staff, conduct performance reviews for maintenance staff, assist with and coordinate training requirements for maintenance team

**We are looking for**:

- Knowledge of PLCs and plant automation, pneumatic and hydraulic valves
- Strong machinery knowledge and wiring troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems, specifically SAP is an asset
- Strong prioritization skills, ability to multi-task
- A mechanically inclined individual with college or university-level schooling completed in mechanics, mechanical engineering or similar field of study
- Manufacturing/Production plant industry experience
- Collaboration and strong leadership skills
