**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Read work orders and production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, location/direction of bend lines and dimensions and tolerances.
- Load work pieces and material into machines.
- Set up, operate or tend machines to bend or straighten metal material.
- Start machines, monitor their operations and record operational data.
- Test/adjust machine speeds and actions according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools.
- Install, align and lock specified punches, dies or other fixtures.
- Position, align and secure work pieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies.
- Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates or rulers.
- Examine completed work pieces for defects such as chipped edges and marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
- Clean and lubricate machines.
- Demonstrate initiative in taking corrective actions.
- Ability to work shifts and overtime when requested.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner, use safe work habits and wear PPE.
- Physically fit and able to lift light to moderate weights.
- Watching gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Must be willing and flexible to rotate to various tasks as required.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Must be an excellent team player.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to program components into computerized HMI screens.
- Excellent oral communication skills in the English language.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Very reliable, responsible, flexible and organized.
- Ability to keep hand and arm steady while moving arm or holding arm and hand in one position.
- Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Quality awareness combined with speed.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Experience using Press Brake Machines.
- Press Brake Certification.
- Experience in a manufacturing plant required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $23.21 per hour
