As Production Manager you will oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure optimal product quality and maximum profit for company management.
In performing your duties, you will direct and supervise the activities of food production staff. You will assign roles to production staff according to their competence and work demand. You will be responsible to motivate and supervisor the production staff to ensure daily production targets are achieved.
You are responsible for setting and implementing standards, procedures, and processes for the manufacture of high-quality food products. You will collaborate with the quality assurance department to monitor the various aspects of food processing to ensure final product meets set specifications.
You are responsible for preparing and presenting periodic reports to update company management on food production operations.
You are responsible for inspecting food production equipment to ensure they are operational and in good working order for food processing.
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all internal and external food production regulations and legislation.
To succeed in this role, some of the qualities you need to develop include leadership, time management, and decision-making skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
