Our company, a logistic management, distribution and warehousing enterprise is expanding and requires the right person to join their team and contribute to the on-going success of their operation. We are looking for a full-time Billing Clerk.

**What is the role?**

Under the direction of the Logistics Director and with efficiency and customer service a priority, the Billing Clerk is responsible for the billing and audit of the company’s freight brokerage service.

The designated employee, among other assigned responsibilities, will perform the following principal tasks:

- Work in conjunction with the team members & other Trans Plus departments and our clients to process all billing related tasks;
- Batch Statements preparation;
- Enter Interliner Payable costs in our TMS module;
- Respond to customer POD requests and provise in a timely manner;
- Responsible for verifying daily invoices from sub-contractors and 3rd parties for payment;
- Be proactive in pursuing all accessorial charges when applicable. Ensure these charges are communicated to clients and properly invoiced;
- Invoice ancillary charges to customers based on carrier costs;
- Invoice & Documentation audit (Bills of lading, proof of deliveries, receipts, scale tickets, unloading receipts, customs paperwork, etc.);
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within the team, as well as other stakeholders;
- Execute any other department accounting related tasks as assigned by the direct Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years of transportation and invoicing experience;
- Team player;
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to communicate well in French.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office, Truckmate, PC Miller and link logistics.

Pay Rate: To Be Determined Based on Experience.
