RWDI is seeking an experienced individual to join our Industry business sector as a **Principal Solar/Renewable Energy Consultant**.
Individual must be a seller
- doer consultant. RWDI has been in the solar industry for many years offering wind engineering, computational fluid dynamics, noise, glare, regulatory permitting and other services.
We are hoping to fill this position in our* USA/Canada* offices and **Europe** offices; however, for the right individual, we are open to working out alternative locations.

The role will include (but is not limited to): *
- Expanding our service area and clientele in the solar and renewable energy space.
- Providing sales support for marketing initiatives of services in North/South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
- Effectively communicating with prospective clientele to increase market area as well as clientele base.
- Positively promoting the company in all dealings with clients and staff.
- Position will be a direct report to Brad Bergeron, Vice President - Industry Sector.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- A degree in engineering or science.*
- 5-10 years* of experience with consulting in the solar/renewables industry with an established client base (industry and regulatory contacts).
- Proven consultation track record with projects in the solar/renewable energy field.
- Must have extensive knowledge of industry-required services for solar/renewable energy field.
- Market awareness with business development experience.
- Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide range of audience understanding.
- Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and co-workers.
