Toronto, Canada The UPS Store Full time

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Store Associate to join our dynamic team. This is a part-time position, scheduled weekdays from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM and alternating Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the possibility of on-call extra hours.

Duties
- Provide accurate information about products and services.
- Assist customers with shipping, tracking, returns, passport photos, printing and maintaining client expectations with orders and shipments.
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions or products.
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate such as upgrading shipments to express when possible and large print quantities
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions through data entry.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while handling customer requests.
- Comfortable handling packages up to **20 lbs** on a regular basis and able to lift and move packages up to **40 lbs** when needed.

**Skills**:

- Strong phone etiquette to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.
- Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Sales experience is a plus, with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

**Experience**:

- Customer service experience preferred

**Language**:

- Fluent English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- High School Diploma (required)

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
