At VIA HFR, we are re-imagining passenger rail service on behalf of the Government of Canada Our goal is to create a new sustainable train network that that will run faster, more often and will be more reliable between Toronto and Québec City. The HFR project is Canada's largest infrastructure project in generations.

**The role**

**The responsibilities**
- Manage and lead the Business Intelligence team, comprising two analysts, a Borealis system advisor and a market research advisor.
- Design, implement methods and tools to analyze internal and external market data.
- Ensure the strategy of our stakeholder management tool, Borealis.
- Produce and distribute reports, dashboards, and strategic recommendations for management.
- Monitor the competition and identify best practices in the sector.
- Support cross-functional projects involving business intelligence.

**The requirements**
- Higher education in statistics, marketing, management or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the services sector.
- Bilingualism (French/English).
- Mastery of data analysis tools and techniques, including the Borealis system, statistical software, databases, etc.
- Ability to carry out and supervise studies, such as surveys and focus groups, while respecting quality standards and deadlines.
- Ability to present data in lay terms.
- Ability to synthesize, rigorously and innovatively formulate relevant proposals and communicate them effectively.
- Sense of leadership, teamwork and customer service, ability to federate and support change.
- Knowledge of government mechanisms (asset).
