Technical Support and Services: The Company offers technical support, training, and consultingservices to assist customers in the deployment, maintenance, and operation of their seismic instruments and systems.

Reftek is looking for a Production Manager to join their team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Reporting to the President, the Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production process of building and testing electronics equipment and ensuring that all products are produced efficiently, on time and within budget. They will oversee the entire production operation and supply chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and improve production planning and scheduling - which includes maintaining and expanding the current ERP systems running MRP reports on a daily basis.

Overseeing, mentoring and training of 6-8 production staff and ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently and on-time.

Coordinating with other departments, such as engineering, purchasing and accounting to ensure that all aspects of the production are running smoothly and efficiently.

Implement Quality Control procedures to ensure all of the products are assembled and tested to company and client standards.

Managing all production and product BOM changes and establishing relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure the products are flowing in a timely manner to match production schedules.

Maintaining accurate inventory and verification through periodic inventory counts

Help develop improved testing procedures for all products

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Experience working as Production Manager or manufacturing leader with a backing inelectronics/mechanical assembly.

Experience in using and maintaining an MRP system.

Supervisory experience and are confident in mentoring junior assemblers and technicians.

A hands on style that can find the root cause of issues and resolve them quickly.

Experience working with other disciplines (engineering, accounting) to improve production processes.

**Qualifications**:
Electrical or Mechanical Technician/Technologist/Engineer

Ability to read electrical schematics

Knowledge of basic test equipment

Attention to detail and precision in handling electronic components and following technical instructions.

Experience in an electronic/mechanical environment is required

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
