As **Production Planning Manager** you will report to VP Operations and be responsible for executing the seasonal production plan. You will assist with development of the production plan. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the production plan is delivered. You will maximize production efficiency with factories and in-house manufacturing as well as with cross-functional departments, including Raw Materials Planning, Product Development and Sales. You will fully utilize your planning and organizational skills to move and drive production forward while adhering to tight timelines

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with senior management to develop an efficient and executable seasonal production plan
- Issue production orders to fulfill production plan and meet deadlines
- Develop and maintain capacity plans with manufacturers
- Manage the workload of both internal and external manufacturing resources to optimize the flow of goods
- Monitor backlogs and events that interfere with the execution of the production plan and proactively seek solutions.
- Analyze WIP metrics to evaluate and assess progress
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding production challenges and delays
- Work with stakeholders to find and execute solutions to problems

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years’ experience in production planning or equivalent supply chain position, preferably in apparel industry
- Diploma or degree in process management, planning, engineering, or related field is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly skilled in Excel
- Attention to detail
- High level of analytical thinking
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Situational understanding and the ability to be flexible
