**General Summary** Supports the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. **Principal Duties and Responsibilities** - Comply with established Company policies and regulations of each Province - Process and reconcile Bi-Weekly payroll for multiply companies - Responsible for reviewing and auditing one or more of the following activities: new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, rate changes, retroactive adjustments and special pays. - Prepares tax deposits and reports. - Prepares GL files for multiple companies - Researches and produces special reports. - Import and export vendor files - Manage and post ROEs - Process Garnishments - Collaborates with accounting and human resources teams - Register Companies in n ew Provinces as needed - Research and reply to government notices - Assist with set up and testing of new companies - Balancing Yearend Slips - Preparing and filing Bi-Weekly, Monthly and Annual Taxes **Qualifications**: - Requires high school diploma with good math/accounting aptitude. - Experienced with processing for multiple companies - Payroll system experience with UKG preferred - Ability to handle a high velocity workload - Proficient with Excel and Word. - Minimum 5 years experience with Payroll Taxes and processing - Must speak both French and English.
