This position is open to all qualified OPSEU staff throughout Lakeridge Health commencing November 28, 2024 and closing at 11:59 pm on December 5, 2024.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPHT);
- Graduate of a CCAPP (Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs) Accredited Pharmacy Technician Education Program;
- Minimum 2 years oncology-related experience preferred;
- Retail experience preferred;
- Familiarity with oncology terminology would be an asset;
- Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel are preferred;
- Proficient keyboarding skills;
- Excellent working knowledge of Cancer Treatments, health system infrastructure, special access programs and third party insurance plans preferred;
- Proficiency navigating EPIC and KROLL computer systems would be an asset;
- Member of Oncology Drug Access Navigators of Ontario (ODANO) preferred;
- Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills;
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills involving ability to multi-task and prioritize workload;
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgement and to assess situations and problems efficiently and effectively;
- Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;
- Must have a satisfactory performance record;
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and participation in regular in-service education sessions.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and OPSEU Local 348.

Successful External applicants must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector, dated within the past six (6) months.
