We are seeking an entry level Environmental Technician to join our construction environmental monitoring team in our New Westminster office.
**Responsibilities**:
- Participate in field investigations and construction monitoring programs and reporting.
- Conduct literature and data reviews.
- Assist with data analysis and interpretation.
**Education and Experience**:
- Recent graduate of a 2-year accredited diploma or a degree program in applied science, engineering technology, environmental science, or a related discipline.
- Previous training, coursework and work experience (e.g., co-op’s) in environmental monitoring, sampling, and reporting in BC.
**Other Assets/Skills**:
- Willingness to work long hours and in inclement outdoor weather conditions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working on or near water and in variable weather conditions.
- Ability to thrive in remote or field-based environments.
- Team-oriented with a positive and adaptable mindset.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity and safety.
- Valid driver’s license with eligibility for coverage under Hatfield’s corporate insurance.
