Operations Analyst

**OPERATIONS ANALYST, EASTERN REGION (ON/QC/ATLANTIC)**

**Purpose**:
Oversee the entire life cycle of APEX Portfolio products; Inbound, demand planning, pricing, data analysis for all products in Eastern Canada: ON, QC, NB, NS, NL, PEI

**Department: Apex Portfolio**

**Reports To: National Operation and Revenue Manager**

**Operations Analyst Responsibilities**:
**Supply Chain Management 70%**
- Update inventory reports as per liquor boards reporting
- Review monthly inventory and sales reconciliations
- Work with Key Account Manager to revise and update forecasts on all products
- Measure and improve forecast accuracy through analysis of historical order patterns, current and historical inventory at liquor boards, seasonal and promotional periods, pricing strategies, product life cycles, customer strategic plans and consumer trends
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure product order requests are received, ETA, process and shipped in a timely manner, as well as all billing questions
- Addressing all related shipment and inventory issues and troubleshooting and informing appropriate stakeholders
- Manage Liquor Board web-based supply chain and purchase order system
- Generate depletion reports for suppliers as needed
- Identify inefficiencies within the supply chain and propose recommendations
- Daily inventory report management, consolidating data and sending to Sales Reps
- Provide back up on all inbound ordering and supplier correspondence for accurate inventory management
- Inventory reconciliation - update POs and materials in SAP corresponding to LCBO data
- Correspondence with suppliers to get accurate ETAs on shipping and update inventory report accordingly

**Administration 15%**
- Update inventory report as per liquor boards reporting
- Review monthly inventory and sales reconciliations
- Work with Key Account Manager to revise and update forecasts on all products

- Place inbound orders in Elite in line with demand plan, daily monitoring of thresholds to maximize ordering opportunities

**Pricing Support 15%**
- Assist National Operations and Revenue Manager with Pricing administration upon request
- Review and analyze competitive price and proactively make price suggestions to address supply concerns
- Manage pricing in SAP - adjustments and fixing pricing issues on PO’s, updates, new POs

**Operations Analyst Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-3 years work experience in Logistics and Inventory Management
- Experience in Beverage Alcohol industry preferred
- Fluent in English and French
- Strong analytic and quantitative skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP Systems
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to master trade
