Large paralegal firm located in Windsor that thrives on high-quality service and solid work ethic. This is a paid position based on prior related experience and would be a great opportunity for students.

The initial job duties the Employee will be expected to perform will be the following:
- Opening & Closing of client files, in accordance with LSO guidelines;
- Draft documents as needed (Including but not limited to: Landlord and Tenant Board notices, pleadings, affidavits, memos, correspondence, and etc.)
- Maintain current Court procedures & timelines
- Maintain and utilize Cosmolex
- In-person & Electronic Court Filing
- Greet Clients and guests at the front reception desk
- Client Intake
- Schedule and maintain Paralegal’s calendar
- Act as a liaison with clients, opposing counsel, and necessary third party
- Photocopying, Binding of documents, as required
- Managing the physical and electronic client files in accordance with firm policies and procedures
- Upkeep on all current and active files
- Docketing time daily, and maintaining accurate billing records
- Occasional service of documents
- Assist by answering phone calls
- Participate in special projects and assignments as needed and require
- Maintaining workspace in neat and tidy order
- Responsible to coordinate bookkeeping with contracted bookkeeper
- Responsible for completing payroll and document CRA remissions/deductions
- Notary public or commissioner signatures if licensed to provide this service.

Qualifications:
- Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Exceptional dedication to Client's needs
- Willingness to Learn
- Previous Management Experience
- Mediation/Negotiation Experience or Conflict Resolution Skills
- Experience with Cosmolex is considered an asset
**Requirements**:
- 1 Year of office experience (reception, law clerk, secretarial, etc.)

- Windsor, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
