Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has a new opportunity for a Team Lead, Talent Acquisition working remotely or in our hybrid model in Surrey, BC. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, The Team Lead will act as a primary point of contact to a high performing team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and be available to answer questions as well as provide coaching and guidance to the team.

With oversight from the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Team Lead will manage all recruitment operations driving best practices forward, as well as the opportunity to pull and analyze data that can be shared back with the broader HR team and senior leaders. This position requires an individual who can multi-task and thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment.

**The Opportunity**:
**In this role you’ll**:

- Act as a primary point of contact to the Talent Specialists being available to provide real time coaching
- Conduct regular 1:1s’ with Talent Specialists and co-lead weekly team huddles
- Track Talent team’s efficiencies through established KPIs, providing recommendations/ appropriate actions/approaches when necessary; prepares and delivers reports weekly to senior leaders
- Assist with requisition load planning and distribution of roles to the team
- Provide full cycle recruitment support to assigned client group(s) by building strong working relationships with hiring managers and understanding their recruitment needs
- Manage the recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring processes are being utilized by the Talent Acquisition team and managers effectively.
- Onboard and train new team members as required

**Here's what you bring**:

- Undergraduate degree preferably in HR/related field OR equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of full cycle recruitment experience
- 1 year of experience directly or indirectly managing a team
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing the full recruitment cycle for complex/senior leadership roles
- Previous experience with an applicant tracking experience is required (Dayforce preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong analytical skills and experience pulling and analyzing talent acquisition data
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
- Effectively able to plan and set priorities
