Ottawa Home Select are seeking a Construction Manger to join our residential construction team You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Procurement of required resources for assigned projects
- Communicating with clients
- Coordinating with and supervising onsite personnel and subcontractors, and sub trades.
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, in-house design team, architects, engineers, city and county officials
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Ensure profitability, project scheduling and timetable
- Preparation of Change of Work Orders if the Original Scope of Work changes
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Maintaining Quality Control Procedures
- Post-Construction / Close out phase

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge construction materials, processes and equipment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Experience using Budgeting Software including but not limited to Co-Construct considered an asset
- Valid 'G' Class Driving Licence - With Reliable means of transportation

**Salary**: $31,339.00-$100,000.00 per year

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction Management: 2 years (required)
- Construction: 2 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (required)
