Shipper/receiver

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
- Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments
- Unpack, label, and organize received items in the warehouse
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and maintain proper documentation
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts to move and stack materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other team members to meet shipping deadlines
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Familiarity with basic math for inventory management and order fulfillment
- Experience with order picking and packaging techniques
- Proficient in using a forklift to move materials safely
**Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing
- organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks effectively
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour
