**MISSION**

Working under the North American Marketing Director and alongside the North American Digital Content Manager (Thrustmaster), the North American Community Coordinator (Thrustmaster) will be responsible for strengthening our gaming hardware brand’s relationship with individual end users on first-party and third-party digital conversation channels.

The North American Community Coordinator (Thrustmaster) will add personal relatability to our brand via the direct engagement of individual community members among our primary target audience of **Simulation Gamers based in US/Canada**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Community and Content Expertise:

- Build community goodwill by being present, informative, funny, and relevant in the same communities where our fans spend their time online. Act as a voice of authority and stimulate the community’s emotional bond with the brand.
- Represent our brand with respect and passion. Define a humorous, intelligent, North American-centric ‘brand voice’ within a global community of engaged, knowledgeable, and passionate users.
- Stimulate and guide the conversation as needed. Develop an instinctual understanding of which conversations to engage with and nurture, and which conversations to ignore.
- Work closely with the Global brand team, the US sales team, and the North American marketing team to remain up-to-date with what can and cannot be said about upcoming products; drop valuable pieces of information to assist in the brand’s promotional objectives.
- Assist the North American Digital Content Manager (Thrustmaster) in the creation of visual and written brand content that reflects our existing tone of voice and capitalizes on trending topics in the community.

Community Tracking, Support & Reporting:

- Study and immerse yourself in our product range and compatible games, ensuring that you can speak authoritatively about the use of our products and have credibility in the eyes of our niche communities of well-informed fans.
- Become an authority on community sentiment and trends by monitoring the most important online conversations about games, products, memes, and other relevant topics, and sharing highlights with the marketing team.
- Have a keen eye for relevant trending third party UGC to identify online conversations that our social media team should officially engage with and/or share.
- Build monthly reports on product launches, community wishlists, competitive social media posts, gaming communities, and other relevant topics to summarize community sentiment about our brand and the industry to senior members of the marketing and R&D teams.
- Identify key community members, emerging digital influencers and relevant independent media voices across different digital platforms with whom you can build and nurture long-lasting content collaborations to positively represent the brand.
- Independently manage a community influencer budget to financially support the most promising up-and-coming content creator voices in the simulation gaming community on behalf of the brand.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in community moderation, customer support, marketing, content creation/videography, social media management, influencer management, or another relevant community engagement role is required.

- This role primarily serves the US so perfect written English and written/spoken conversational Spanish are required.
- You must be willing to provide writing samples of blog posts, newsletters, community moderation accounts, or social media feeds. You should be willing to pass a community moderation writing test if writing samples are not available.
