**Summer Student - Angus Restore Sales Associate 2025**

**As part of the Canada Summer jobs program, students must be between 15 and 30 years of age, registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year, intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year, and is a student in a secondary, post-secondary program.**

**Term: 8 Weeks** (Tuesday through Saturday)

**Pay**: $17.20/hour 35 hours/week

**Start Date**: June 24, 2025

**End Date**: August 16, 2025

**Job Summary**:

- Provides world-class customer service in a team environment.
- Develops relationships with and donors providing knowledgeable, courteous and responsive customer service to build loyalty and promote repeat business.
- Ensure adherence to established safety and security practices and procedures as outlined in the Restore Safety Handbook.
- Works with teammates to create eye-catching displays and merchandising.
- Works with teammates in the donation/warehouse areas to keep donations moving efficiently on to the sales floor.
- Works with donation ambassador and driver to collect donations in the community.
- Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including days and weekends on a rotating schedule.

**Knowledge, Experience & Attributes**:

- Previous retail experience with strong communication skills.
- Adaptable, energetic team player with a passion for contributing to our mission.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop a rapport with teammates, volunteers, customers and donors.
- Able to meet the physical demands including frequent pushing, pulling and reaching; frequent kneeling & bending; frequent lifting or carrying up to 30 lbs; standing for extended periods of time.
- Must have CSA approved, green patch steel toe boots/shoes.
