Global Alliance is a growing outlet for home improvement products, serving the communities of southern Ontario. Our stores offer a wide variety of materials, including floors and trims, paint, light fixtures, kitchens and baths. Though we operate out of three locations - Toronto, Glencairn (Barrie) and Wasaga Beach - the organization works closely together with a strong family culture.

We are excited to continue expanding our team, and are currently looking for a **Retail & Warehouse Sales Associate **for our **Glencairn **location on weekdays (Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm), and for our **Wasaga Beach** location (every second Saturday 10am - 2pm), with the option of having a day off during the week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Forklift License
- Creating a welcoming environment by greeting all customers as they walk through the doors
- Providing excellent customer service by ensuring the customer takes priority
- Assessing customers’ needs to be able to provide information and assistance about products and services
- Maximizing sales opportunities by recommending accessories/add-on they might need for proper installation methods
- Being knowledgeable to answer questions regarding products
- Processing invoicing, credit memos, receiving payment and sending purchase orders through QuickBooks according to company policies
- Checking stock with QuickBooks, our Glencairn location and/or suppliers
- Ensuring the pricing on samples and display items is up to date, creating and changing labels as required
- Maintaining presentable visual merchandising by keeping samples and displays in order
- Maintaining housekeeping standards at all times throughout the store and the warehouse
- Being able to work independently and as a team with other co-workers
- Following company policy and procedures
- Keeping all customers’ personal information such as addresses, credit card info and all our suppliers’ details and pricing confidential
- Other duties as assigned from time to time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
