**Heavy Equipment Technician**

Maxx North America Services Ltd., one of Alberta’s most progressive and innovative pipeline and water management service companies, is looking to hire a capable, motivated, and safety conscious Journeyperson red seal endorsed Heavy Equipment Technicians and Apprentices to maintain their growing large fleet of equipment. We believe in the power of people and strive for excellence in service by empowering our employees and building a respectful, accountable, and supported team.

**The Responsibilities**
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of mid duty and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose equipment and provide a course of remedial action and parts needed.
- Complete proper paperwork including work orders, job hazard analysis, parts used/ requested forms
- Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve operations, streamline work process
- Maintain clean, tidy, professional, and safe work area

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Journeyperson or active apprentice in the Heavy Equipment Technician trade.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Tool box with proper tools of trade up to 3/4:” drive
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, punctual
- Own transportation with valid class 5 license, with a clean abstract
- Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program experience an asset

**Job Type**: Full-time
