**Proposal Coordinator - Toronto**

We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Proposal Coordinator in our Toronto office. Reporting to Hanscomb’s Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with a team of professionals and regional managers and be responsible for researching prospective projects, leading the preparation of clear and convincing responses to requests for information and proposal submissions, and supporting the firm’s marketing and business development activities.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Analyzing proposal documents and identifying all requirements to ensure proposal compliance.
- Coordinating the proposal process from beginning to end.
- Writing and editing proposal sections, including but not limited to executive summaries, project descriptions, qualification summaries, and resumes.
- Developing, updating and maintaining data for proposals, such as resumes, project pages, images, references, etc., for use in future proposal responses.
- Supporting the creation and updating of new and existing marketing materials, including resumes and project pages.
- Other duties as required, including new bid opportunity searching and distribution.

Qualifications:

- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in communications, professional writing, business administration or other education considered equivalent.
- Strong technical writing skills, including copywriting, editing, grammar, style, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
- Flexible and open to changing priorities, multi-tasking simultaneously, and meeting deliverables within compressed time frames while maintaining accuracy.
- Proactive and willing to take the initiative with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-versed with Microsoft Office and have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experienced in the construction industry and development proposals are preferred.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
