**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of progressive grocery department, or retail management experience
- A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a grocery environment
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
- Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs
- A passion for leading and developing others
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management and food safety regulations'
- Ability to work different shifts including early mornings, weekends and holidays according to the needs of the business
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Lead Grocery team in merchandising produce items for weekly, promotional, and seasonal displays
- Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts
- Schedule Grocery Team Members to ensure that production and customer needs are met
- Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed
- Assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance work team
- Train, develop and motivate Grocery Team Members
- Resolve customer and Grocery department concerns and complaints, and provide a positive customer experience
- Champion the Freson Bros. Brand and culture by modelling our qualities of Drive, Integrity, and Growth

**Position Details**:

- Position Type: Full-Time
- Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Salary: $45,000-$65,000 per year
