**About Us**
We are an up-and-coming private healthcare clinic in Ottawa, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the public and clients accessing services through Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). As we grow, we’re building a warm, professional team that prioritizes patient experience, efficiency, and excellence.
**The Role**
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and reliable Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to join our clinic. As the first point of contact for patients, professionalism and empathy are essential. Since we are a growing clinic, we are also seeking someone who is flexible, adaptable, and a true team player, ready to contribute in different areas and support colleagues to ensure smooth operations and an outstanding patient experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet patients, clients, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Verify insurance/EAP information and assist with intake forms/onboarding and supporting patients to sign up with our platform as needed.
- Coordinate scheduling for patients and providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and payments.
- Assist with day-to-day clinic operations (supply ordering, correspondence, etc.).
**Qualifications**
- Previous front desk, medical office, or administrative experience (minimum 2 years).
- Completion of a _Medical Office Administration Certificate/Diploma_ (or equivalent) is an asset.
- Strong comfort with technology, including scheduling and EMR systems.
- Experience with **Telus Health CHR** medical platform or similar an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- **French language skills are an asset.**:
