Manmade is a young yet innovative eCommerce retailer offering high quality essential garments for men. Based in Montreal, Quebec, we design, produce, market, and distribute quality apparel across Canada and soon in the USA as well.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and protocols for apparel production.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to integrate quality control measures from the initial stages of product development.
- Oversee and coordinate with suppliers in Asia to ensure all aspects of production adhere to specified quality standards.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and quality requirements.
- Plan and execute regular quality audits and inspections at various stages of the production process.
- Identify quality issues and defects, document findings, and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of quality checks, audits, and corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports on quality performance and progress for senior management.
- Train and guide on-site quality control teams in Asia on quality assurance procedures and standards.
- Develop educational materials and protocols for continuous improvement of quality processes.
- Work closely with the product development team in Montreal to align product specifications with production outputs.
- Act swiftly to resolve any issues related to the quality of materials or finished products.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or college degree in Quality Management, Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in quality assurance or quality control in the apparel industry, with specific experience in overseeing production overseas.
- Strong knowledge of têxtile materials, garment construction, and quality assurance technologies.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in using quality control software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese is a significant asset.
- Must be willing to travel to Asia periodically for supplier visits and quality audits.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
