Host/hostess

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials.
- Assist with guest inquiries and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order entry and management.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant etiquette.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus; familiarity with Micros POS is highly desirable.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
