**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, adhering to relevant regulations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.
- Utilize accounting software such as Simply Accounting or Sage to manage financial data efficiently.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits as needed.
- Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Xero.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with budgeting, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
