Golden Equity Properties has been specialising in the acquisition and management of multi-unit residential properties in the Quebec and Ontario markets since 2001

Our organisation is looking for a skilled and experienced Accounts Payable to join our growing team at our offices in Downtown Montreal. The incumbent will perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

**What You Will Do**
- Match invoices with P.O.’s
- Verify monthly utilities, phone bills and monthly service / maintenance invoices, and entering the invoices to the software
- Verify and enter the payroll invoice for independent contract, commission invoices for rental agent
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions - vendor statements
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Filing of invoices and cheques and matching cheques
- Sending invoices out for approvals
- Verification of account’s statement
- Preparing purchase orders
- Other Tasks:_
- Posting monthly leases increase on Software and sending needed forms to AR Department
- Send report of Water and Electricity for new move-ins along with signed forms
- Preparing corporate taxes for all properties (filling tax forms not calculation)
- LTB and increases

1. Group of forms when it comes to increases, fill it out and dealing with AR team

2. Dealing and sending certain forms to the paralegal

3. Preparing corporate taxes for all properties (filling tax forms not calculation)

4. Ledger Adjustment (Rent credit, AGI issues)

5. Move out notification

Send notification to tenants

**Job Requirements**
- Maintain accurate historical records
- Maintain confidentiality of organisational information

What You Will Bring to The Role
- 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounts payable
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Knowledge of Yardi and Property Vista software an asset
- Proficient in data entry and management
