**Paralegal - Summary of the Role (On-site: Mississauga, ON)**

We are seeking an experienced paralegal who will support the Foodtastic legal and real estate departments in the review and drafting of various corporate and commercial agreements with a particular focus on commercial leasing documents.

**Key Role & Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing and drafting corporate and commercial agreements under the supervision of internal lawyers. This includes LOIs, offers, leases, lease amendments, lease renewals, lease assignments, subleases, and tri-party agreements
- Preparing notices to landlords (including notices to exercise options to renew), condition waivers, and estoppels
- Monitoring and administering upcoming lease renewals
- Assisting and supporting lease negotiations
- Drafting of other corporate and commercial documents as required by the legal department as well as other administrative & coordinative duties

- Organizational & Planning Skills_
- Ability to plan effectively, work under pressure and manage deadlines and competing priorities, in a very fast paced and high-volume environment.
- While working under the supervision of lawyers, the ability to work independently and autonomously is important.
- Is very attentive to details.
- Computer Skills_
- Advanced MS Office skills, including Sharepoint, Excel and also proficient with Adobe.
- Experience with digital signing software is an asset.
- Knowledge, Experience & Education Required_
- Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario.
- 3-5 years of real estate paralegal experience
- Experience in the following areas is an asset: real estate sector, food industry, franchising, property management.
