We are actively recruiting for the role of Sales Manager

**Responsibilities of the Sales Manager role**:

- Meeting the annual dealership sales forecasts which includes total vehicle sales, gross, volume and operating profits as well as expenses for the new vehicle sales departments.
- Meeting with sales consultants to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits.
- Train and monitor the performance of the sales consultants, holding weekly sales meetings, and conducting sales training.
- Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising new vehicles as well as reviewing and initialing all promotions before they are finalized.
- Coordinating the appropriate supply of new vehicles and ordering/acquiring vehicle inventory accordingly.
- Meeting weekly/monthly with the dealership’s General Manager to review forecasts and profits for New department.
- Working directly with the General Manager on making recommendations on both short and long-range advertising plans, sales promotions, staffing needs, lease promotions and compensation plans.
- Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained.
- Auditing all appraisals of trade-in vehicles.
- Issuing all demonstration vehicles and ensuring that appropriate dealership records are maintained.
- Oversees for the delivery of all vehicles. Ensures all details of the delivery are completed.
- Meet and thanked every guest on delivery to ensure they have their first service visit booked.
- Ensure all documentation/paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner.

**What You Offer**:

- Previous automotive sales management experience
- Valid OMVIC license required
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with good driving record
- Self-motivated, confident, and high level of customer-central enthusiasm
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Must have the ability to work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledgeable about provincial regulations and legislation, keeping abreast of any changes
- Proven track record for setting and achieving performance goals. Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Highly effective communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to work with customers, colleagues and numerous outside suppliers and stakeholders
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
