Equipment/maintenance Superintendent

**Responsibilities**
- Ensures the coordination of equipment maintenance and repairs within established deadlines to optimize site productivity;
- Supervises work assignments to achieve production objectives while respecting the quality and health and safety standards of the maintenance department;
- Manages their staff by ensuring that activities are carried out in a safe and healthy environment and that policies and procedures are followed;
- Ensures communication between site operations and maintenance department;
- Participates in hiring processes and coordinates the work schedules of maintenance employees;
- Ensures that equipment complies with applicable laws and standards;
- Works with existing business systems and processes of the department and able to use and integrate new technologies.

**Requirements**:
**Requirements**:

- Heavy equipment mechanic certification (red seal) or any equivalent;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory position;
- Knowledge of construction regulations;
- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, CMMS.

- Planning and organization skills;
- Able to work under pressure;
- Interpersonal relationships;
- Leadership and professionalism.
