**Junior Project Manager**

**Duties**
- Create geo-processing and GIS web services
- Cultivate and maintain server-side geo-processing and automation scripts
- Build and maintain integrations with other systems
- Create or update high quality custom maps
- Communicate GIS concepts and be persuasive in providing recommendations to clients
- Create training material and documentation
- Design and conduct Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures on mapping and data products.
- Actively participate in the preparation of proposals (e.g. RFPs, RFIs and RFQs)
- Estimate work effort and proposes development solutions
- Provide end user support and creates support documentation
- Work on an interdisciplinary team of technical and functional professionals
- Prepare and deliver reports, demonstrations and presentations to audiences summarizing recommended location-based strategies
- Commitment to customer service including the ability to assess client needs to translate them into comprehensive GIS solutions.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a team, both verbally and in writing
- Monitor and report on status of activities, deliverables, risk factors, and mitigation
- Lead and consult with internal and external clients to define project requirements, investigating various approaches to deliver high quality information to stakeholders.
**Requirements**:
**_Education & Experience_**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Geography with a post-bachelor’s certificate/diploma in GIS or related disciplines
- 3-5 years advanced development experience
**_Skills: _**
- SQL Server/Oracle Database: Script, T-SQL, PL/SQL, procedures, functions
- Strong skills in the creation of high-quality mapping deliverables for the purposes of public consultation and to supplement engineering and planning reports.
- Proficiency with GIS analytics skills and demonstrated ability to provide recommendations for solving business problems
- Experience designing and configuring field data collection solutions using ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123
- Experience using ETL tools (specifically Safe Software FME)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Products
- Preferred:
- Experience with HxGN Enterprise Asset Management (formerly Infor EAM) software an asset
- Web programming languages (JS, HTML, CSS)
- Experience/understanding of railway, property and facility assets
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
